Well, that's a relief

Belinda Stronach won't be running for the Liberal leadership.

Quite aside from my belief that she's completely unqualified for the job of Prime Minister, a Stronach win in the leadership contest would have set up an electoral contest between Stephen Harper, from the right wing of the Conservative Party, and Stronach, who, of course, helped found that Conservative Party. An electoral contest that Harper would have won in a landslide.
